I am so very very excited to announce my new book “From Bourbon Street to the Twelfth Dimension; Finding Divine Love” will be published by Balboa Press in January of 2023. I thought I would start to share sections of the book to lead up to release of the book. By going through the cosmic chakras it helps you connect to Divine Love which is also self love!
What a great place to start learning about Divine Love than with the Cosmic Chakras! Each week I will put out a section of the new book, the original color image of the cosmic chakra and a link to a guided meditation for you to experience this chakra. We will go through the Soul Seed, 1st Chakra, 2nd Chakra, 3rd Chakra, 4th Chakra, 5th Chakra, 6th Chakra, 7th Chakra, The High Heart and Emerald Chakra. There are more chakras that have been introduced into our Earth, but these are the 10 that I will focus on in the following posts.
Please leave me comments below on your experience with the Cosmic Chakras!

The Root Chakra keeps us grounded or centered. It is the first response of life. This is the basic instinct of the animal parts of us- are you going to run away or are you secure and going to fight. Since we are looking past violence as a response, let’s say instead are you connected or disconnected from the Great Mother. Easy ways to connect to this chakra is to walk barefoot outside or stick your hands in the dirt. This is the energy where we connect to nature, feel present and basic human instincts. Here in this energy, we need to stay connected to the rhythm of the earth.
When I was just beginning to teach Rainbow Reiki and Angelic healing, I was really out of it. I had abused old friendships and not realizing the actions I was taking because I was so wrapped up in a higher spiritual consciousness. One particular time that stands out to me I had a dear friend just dump me, yelled at me, and we had a fight that I didn’t see coming. I thought I was on the high road to a higher understanding, I was doing my meditations, my mantras, living what I thought was proper. I wasn’t. She totally pointed out all my flaws, all my shortcoming and tossed it back at me. I was devastated and did not understand, she was an old dear who knew me so well. She said the truth- I was not grounded, it was too soon for me to call myself a master healer and I was only on the beginning of my understanding. I was flighty, I was “Stinking of Enlightenment” not because I had the experience but because I had a certificate that said it. I was not ground, I was not connected to nature, I was not fully connected to myself. I wish she will read this and know how humbled I am that she put up with me as long as she did. We have never spoken again, me out of embarrassment for being a dumbass, and her because she is more stubborn than most. When our paths cross someday, I will be the first to apologize, and thank her for she taught me what grounding is about. It’s not just reaching down touching the ground, it is not just the color red or knowing what the books say.
The first chakra, grounding is about connecting first and most importantly to what we are made of, where we are from, Mother Earth. Without this connect you cannot travel to highest dimensions; you cannot live your life fully functioning. It is not just being able to understand taxes and real-world issues, it is about feeling secure with nature, with your surrounds. It is about feeling the rhythm of the world beneath your feet. It is about being the foundation of your future.
An easy way to feel your first chakra is put your hands in the dirt, put them down into the ground. Hold a rock, not a crystal, a rock, granite, iron, put your feet deep into the sand. If you live in the city and this may not be possible, another trick is called a sole water. It is using Himalayan pink salt in a glass of water; The ideal amount is one teaspoon of pink salt to one full glass of purified water. It is awesome way to pull your body back into itself, back to reality after a sound bath, yoga or any type of meditation that you do not feel fully grounded.
Another is the pendulum swing. This is an exercise that you let your arms hang loosely as you put your back into tabletop position. You know bend at your waist and make your back flat. If that hurts just natural hang over your toes in a loose way. In this position you will gently connect to the earth and feel its movement. You will find yourself gently swaying with the natural rhythm of the world. First it maybe just your arms, but you may find your whole body feeling the natural movement.
This red chakra is the foundation for you to move up the chakra system with ease and grace. Make the connection and feel how the other chakras follow!
